展開左方選單的「Note」後，可以一覽該卷宗內收錄的檔案。下圖為FO 17/533中的Consul at Canton, Robertson, Acting Consul Mayero，第22項為「Correspondence with Dr. MacGowan about Telegraphy」，中間則有「Opening of Chaochowfoo. Extract Related to General de Gendre （應為le Gendre） & Formosa.」
點選「View Item」後，便可直接跳到該份檔案起始的頁185，翻到第193頁則可看到寫給Dr. MacGowan的信件所附的The China Mail的剪報。該份剪報報導了羅妹號事件後續處理狀況，文中提到了《斯卡羅》中有重要戲份的必麒麟（William Alexander Pickering，1840-1907）、卓杞篤（tow-ke-took，文中描述其為16社之首領）等人。
